Our client has a long history of construction in the DRC going back almost 100 years. It has remained one of the major construction players in the country and has built a large portion of the DRC's civils infrastructure over the decades.
They are now looking for a highly competent Technical Director who will report direct to the CEO and oversee the entire construction division. This includes roads, bridges, earthworks, structures, the company's quarry, the asphalt division, and to a minor extent, buildings.
The Technical Director will be located in Kinshasa at the head office and it is anticipated that the ideal person will already be in an executive position in a middle to large size South African construction company.
The company will provide appropriate accommodation for the executive and his spouse or partner and the remuneration is highly negotiable to attract the right person. The remuneration will be tax free (the company will pay all local taxes), housing and flights and the normal expat benefits will be provided by the company.
The position will be a permanent appointment and the company will negotiate a very generous vacation structure to suit the individual.
